Hello everyone, here is another photo blog of me. Just came back from Voralberg Austria last week. Had a wonderful holiday for two weeks. First one week in the Kleinwalsertal where we stayed in the town of Riezlern and then one week in the Bregenzerwald in the town of Schoppenau. In both environments we were able to make a lot of use of the cable cars, which allowed us to do many beautiful walks in the mountains at high altitude. A few years ago we have also been to Voralberg and 1 day in the Bregenzerwald. We liked it so much that we wanted to go back there someday. That has now finally happened. It’s such a beautiful setting. I feel at home in the mountains. Wonderfully quiet, away from all the hustle and bustle. The weather was not always great but despite that we still saw a lot. It is also nice to see and hear all those cows with those cowbells around their necks. Those bells are reminiscent of a singing bowl session or sometimes of the ice cream man. There were many highlights including a visit to the gorge Breitachklamm, a climb on the Kanzelwand and Felhorn, seeing sunrise on the Diedamskopf (well above 2000m) and a visit to Obersdorf with the view of the Nebelhorn. Of course I took a lot of photos, of which you can see a selection here.
